A roundup of new hires and other personnel moves in the association industry.

Jamie Blietz  recently joined the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography as deputy CEO. Blietz previously served as the director of the National Blood Exchange of the American Association of Blood Banks.

Cynthia Fondriest announced the formation of the National Electric Vehicle Association and has named Phyllis J. Doak vice president of administration.

The Electronic Transactions Association has hired Jason Oxman as CEO. Previously, he was senior vice president of industry affairs for the Consumer Electronics Association.

David Dubois, CMP, FASAE, CAE, is the new president of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events. DuBois previously served as the CEO of the Fort Worth Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of America has appointed T. Charles Pierson as president and CEO. Pierson joins the national organization after a nine-year tenure as president and CEO of the Dallas/Fort Worth-based Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star.

Peggy Riley has joined Association Management Center as director of governance and operations for the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

Laura Barnett has been hired as the director of human resources for Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa.

Language Line Services has hired  Scott W. Klein as president and CEO.

Linda Wing is the new director of market research for Avenue M Group.

The National Association of College Auxiliary Services has appointed Ron Campbell as its new CEO. Campbell previously served as the president and CEO of College Business Concepts, LLC.

The National Stone, Sand, and Gravel Association has hired Pamala L. Bouchard as vice president of membership.

The Austin Convention and Visitors Bureau announced that Julie Chase has joined the organization as vice president of marketing and tourism. Previously, Chase served as Texas tourism director in the Office of the Governor.

Oliver Yandle, CAE, has been hired as the executive director of the Association of Legal Administrators. Yandle most recently served as executive vice president of the Commercial Law League of America.

Visit Pittsburgh has hired  Angela K. Corvello as director of sales. Previously, she worked as the director of sales and marketing for the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown.

The Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board has appointed Dana Wiliams national director of hotel sales—Southeast. Williams most recently served as director of national accounts for the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau.

National Trade Productions  has hired Bradford Smith  as director of sales and event services.
