A roundup of new hires and other personnel moves in the association industry.

Dustin McKissen, CAE, has joined AMR Management Services as the executive director of the National Christmas Tree Association and Christmas Spirit Foundation.

The American Nuclear Society has hired Sue Crosson-KnutsonĀ­ (above) as communications and public policy manager and Diane Cianflone as director of membership and marketing.

Jasper Welch has been named president and CEO of the National Business Incubation Association.

The Association of Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals has hired Joyce Gilbert, Ph.D., as president and CEO. Gilbert previously served as the executive director of the Marilyn Magaram Center.

The National Association for the Education of Young Children has selected Rhian Evans Allvin as its new executive director. She most recently was the CEO of First Things First.

Noah Mallin has been hired as vice president of marketing for the Online Publishers Association. Mallin previously served as vice president/group director of social marketing at Digitas.

Caroline Ball and Ron Warner have joined Melia Hotels International as directors of group sales.

Michael Toney is the new executive director of hotel sales for SLS Las Vegas. Previously, Toney was vice president of hotel sales for Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Experience Columbus has appointed Joe Bocherer vice president of sales. Previously, he was the corporate director of sales and marketing for White Lodging Services in Atlanta.

Janine Troy has been hired as an account sales manager for the Anaheim/Orange County Visitor and Convention Bureau. Most recently, she served as sales manager for the Embassy Suites Santa Ana.

Laura Arth has joined Associated Luxury Hotels International as vice president for the mid-Atlantic region.
