A roundup of new hires and other personnel moves in the association industry.

Lisa Early has been named vice president of finance and administration and chief financial officer for the Consumer Healthcare Products Association.

The Wine and Spirits Shippers Association welcomed Alison Leavitt as its new managing director. Leavitt most recently served as a director of business development for Albatrans, Inc.

Liz Riddle has been promoted to director of OnCampus research, a division of indiCo, a newly formed unit of the National Association of College Stores. Riddle previously served as consumer research manager for NACS.

The American Bakers Association has hired Chris Clark as vice president of operations. Clark most recently was vice president of operations for the Snack Food Association. ABA also announced the promotion of Teresa Grant to director of finance.

NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, has appointed Wendy Mann, CAE, as its senior vice president.

Alexander T. Graham has been named executive director of the Council for Exceptional Children. Graham most recently was executive director of the Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

The American Humane Association has named Mary Kay Phelps chief philanthropy and marketing officer. Phelps joins AHA after serving as a senior leader and fundraiser for WETA Public TV and 90.9 Classical FM in Washington, DC.

The Children’s Hospital Association has hired Amy Wimpey Knight as chief operating officer.

Barbara Lopez Kunz has been named global chief executive of the Drug Information Association.

Theda Jackson has been named vice president of sales for Desti­nation College Park, Georgia. Jackson most recently served as director of south­eastern sales for the Austin, Texas, Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The American Society of Interior Designers announced Chris M. Tucker as chief operating officer. Previously, Tucker directed enterprise-wide marketing at the Association of American Medical Colleges and oversaw one of the AAMC’s largest professional development groups and its membership, conferences, and programming.

Bill Hanbury joined Boyden World Corporation, a global executive search firm, as principal. Hanbury pre­viously served as CEO of several association and tourism groups, including the United Way Capital Area and Washington DC Convention and Tourism Group.

Bill Gessert has been named director of new business development for Fernley and Fernley, Inc.

Alliance Exposition Services has hired Beth Hays Kepnes as national sales manager. Previously, Kepnes was director of sales at a2z, Inc.
