Best Benefit Ever: New Job Site Has Dental Assistants All Smiles

With the help of a new partnership, the American Dental Assistants Association hopes to help its members explore new career horizons.

What’s the benefit? The American Dental Assistants Association (ADAA) is working with the dental industry jobs site DentReps.com to launch a new association-specific job board. The service, branded as the ADAA Job Search powered by DentReps.com, will put members in direct contact with potential employers.

How it works: ADAA Job Search was created in response to “the massive vacancy of assistants in various regions,” according to Dentistry IQ. With DentReps’ help, ADAA will also provide members with discounts on resume-writing courses, assessment tests, and background checks. The partnership, which has been in development since the Academy of General Dentistry Meeting in San Francisco this summer, has both sides excited. “By joining forces with the ADAA, I am confident that this partnership will not only benefit current and future members of the ADAA, but the entire dental community,” said Peter Cargill, founder and president of DentReps.com.

Other benefits: In addition to the job-search platform, ADAA memberships come with a variety of services, including professional liability insurance and discounts on education services. The association offers different membership tiers as well, each with unique benefits. Student memberships, for example, provide access to the full list of membership services—except liability insurance—at a reduced rate.
