Brew City offers cultural venues, unique team-building activities, and a convenient convention center.

Wisconsin’s largest city offers one-of-a-kind attractions and venues that rival first-tier cities. A bonus: It’s budget-friendly.

Connected convention center. Milwaukee’s convention campus features three unique venues: the Wisconsin Center, the Milwaukee Theatre, and the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena. The Wisconsin Center has 189,000 square feet of exhibit hall space and 28 breakout rooms, and it’s connected via skywalk to 1,200 hotel rooms. More than 200 restaurants are also within walking distance.

Cultural elements. The city has plenty of museums and historical attractions that serve as great locations for receptions and other events. Among those to be considered are the Milwaukee Art Museum, which offers space for more than 1,000 guests; the Grohmann Museum, which accommodates 150 people for a cocktail reception; and the Pabst Mansion, which has a 100-person capacity for a seated dinner.

Team-building activities. Looking to build connections among attendees? The city offers a number of offsite venues for team building, including cooking classes at the Milwaukee Public Market or artist-led painting lessons at Splash Studio. Another option: Escape Chambers, where teams have 60 minutes to solve puzzles that will allow them to open the door to the room they’ve been locked in.
