A roundup of new hires and other personnel moves in the association industry.

The National Retail Foundation has appointed Tom Litchford vice president of retail technologies. In his previous post at Microsoft, he directed the planning, development, and execution of strategic partnerships in the retail and hospitality industries.

David A. Westman was named executive director and CEO of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. Most recently, he served as CEO of the American Association of Diabetes Educators.

The Consumer Specialty Products Association has hired Lynne R. Harris as vice president of communications. Harris had been corporate communications director for the National Industries for the Severely Handicapped.

Michele Blair was hired as CEO of the Heart Failure Society of America. Blair most recently served as executive director and CEO of the Orange County Medical Association.

Association Management Center recently welcomed Susan Farrell as director of knowledge management.

Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts at Yosemite announced two new hires: Lance Wellwood as director of hotels and Dan Cornforth as general manager of Curry Village and Housekeeping Camp.

Marco Bloemendaal is the new senior vice president of convention sales and services for Seattleā€™s Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Tradeshow Logic has hired Bobby Bergeron as national sales executive.

Kristin Gibson has been appointed vice president of sales, marketing, and industry relations for J. Spargo & Associates. She previously was national sales director for Disney Destinations.
