A roundup of new hires and other personnel moves in the association industry.

Ruth Miller joined the government affairs team at the Healthcare Distribution Management Association as senior director of regulatory affairs.

The Infectious Diseases Society of America has named Christopher D. Busky, CAE, its next CEO, taking over for retiring Mark Leasure.

DelCor announced David DeLorenzo, CAE, will be its new CIO. He has previously held executive positions at the American Urological Association and the National Association of College and University Business Officers.

Mark Swets, CAE, will serve as the new executive director of the Association of Condominium, Townhouse, and Homeowners Associations. AlliedPRA, Inc., announced Annette Gregg as a new vice president, overseeing the company’s Los Angeles, Orange County, Palm Springs, and San Diego locations.

The Society of General Internal Medicine welcomed Frank Fortin, CAE, as its new executive director. He has worked in healthcare association management for 18 years.

Jessica Scheyder has been promoted to director of training of the American Traffic Safety Services Association.

The Newspaper Association of America hired Michael MaLoon to fill its new position of vice president of innovation.

Pierre Désy, CAE, has been appointed CEO of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology. The Pulmonary Hypertension Association chose Brad A. Wong as its new president and CEO. He previously served as the executive director of the Foundation of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Visit Anaheim (California) added Paul Romero as convention sales director of its mid-Atlantic team. Technology consulting firm Delta Think, Inc., appointed Deni Auclair to the position of CFO and senior analyst. Murray Ryan will be the new vice president of sales for the Greater Madison (Wisconsin) Convention & Visitors Bureau. Megan Gaus will take over as vice president of marketing and communications at VISIT Milwaukee.

Freeman Audio Visual made 30-year industry veteran Larry Luteran its new chief sales officer. Previously, he was senior vice president of group sales and industry relations at Hilton Worldwide.
