ATM Association Promotes Networking with Online Tool

A new online program allows ATM industry professionals to network right from their offices.

In-person networking with industry colleagues is already one benefit of joining an association. But the ATM Industry Association is making it even easier for its members to connect.

ATMIA recently launched a tool called Member-to-Member Connection to allow easy online communication between its members. The program is a members-only interface that provides access to a member directory and allows users to digitally network within the association.

“Connections are just so important,” ATMIA Global Director of Finance and Member Services Sharon Lane said. “We all know networking is a key advantage to belonging to an association—attending an event—and this takes networking one step further by bringing it closer to you in that it’s right at your desk, and you can make that connection right from your desk.”

ATMIA’s 5,000 members worldwide will be able to use this tool to search for a connection by name or company within the member database. Users can then locate others’ contact information and reach out using the program’s built-in messaging system.

“As the global community of ATMIA members continues to grow, this is going to be a valuable resource and a value-added benefit,” Lane said.

Easing the process of networking upholds ATMIA’s mission of creating a support system among members, encouraging them to share their industry knowledge and work together.

“The new Member-to-Member Connection tool is just the latest benefit we are offering our members,” CEO Mike Lee said in a statement. “In addition to the work we perform to advance the ATM industry, ATMIA is committed to providing real membership value to our supporters.”

Member-to-Member Connection joins ATMIA’s list of existing member benefits, including ATM services directories, ATM consulting and training, research, and events.

“ATMIA is very excited to be able to provide yet another opportunity to create connections within the global ATM community,” Lee continued. “And we have more plans to offer new and innovative features to our members as our community continues to grow.”
