Organization: International Nanny Association

Conference: 34th Annual INA Conference

Venue: The Jung Hotel

City: New Orleans

Following an opening reception on Thursday evening, INA 2019 kicks off Friday morning with a keynote featuring Frances Cole Jones. The author and CEO of Cole Media Management will discuss the impact of tone and body language on the words attendees use—and how a heightened awareness of both ensures they present their best selves in any situation. Also on the agenda:

Newcomers welcome. First-time attendees have the option to be matched up with a conference guide, who will answer any questions they have and meet up with them onsite. First-timers are also invited to attend conference orientation, where they will hear from INA staff and board members about what to expect.

In the round. During Friday afternoon’s roundtable discussions, attendees will get a chance to chat with experts and colleagues about industry hot topics and related issues. Topics planned include basic budgeting for new agency owners, the ins and outs of insurance requirements, and how to kick-start your social media presence.

Virtual option. This year marks the first time INA is offering a virtual attendance option. For $190, members will have access to a select number of presentations, including the keynote, lunch sessions, and more than 15 workshops.
