Denise Froemming, CPA, MBA, CAE, started her career almost 25 years ago when she worked as a general manager of operations at LeDuc’s Custard, a family-owned frozen custard shop in Wisconsin. As the current CFO and executive vice president, administration, at the American Health Information Management Association, she says every job—even serving cones—has taught her a number of lessons.
