A roundup of new hires and other personnel moves in the association industry.

Neil Mullanaphy has been named director of meetings and conventions and director of the foundation for the American Traffic Safety Services Association. Previously, Mullanaphy served as its associate director of meetings and conventions.

Sara Winters is the new leisure sales director at the North Lake Tahoe Resort Association.

Brian Riggs has been named vice president of business development and innovation at AMR Management Services.

Henghong Yang was recently named head of the German Convention Bureau’s China office.

The American Brain Tumor Association announced Debbie Robins as its new development director. Most recently, Robins served as the grant and compliance manager for the College of American Pathologists.

The American College of Chest Physicians announced that Ronald M. Moen joined the organization as chief information officer and senior director of information technology. Moen previously served as senior director of business development at Personify, Inc.

John Walsh joined the National Conference Center and West Belmont Place as food and beverage director.

The National Retail Federation welcomed Robin Roberts as senior director of media relations. Roberts was most recently with the American Red Cross, where she implemented its disaster public affairs strategies.

The Louisville Convention and Visitors Bureau named Dana ­Metzler convention sales manager in its convention development department.

Amber Landis has been promoted to vice president of public policy at the Association for Corporate Growth. She previously served as director of public policy.

Turnberry Isle Miami has hired Brad Randall as director of food and beverage. Previously, Randall held various leadership positions at four- and five-diamond properties.

Brad Knapp was named convention services manager in the convention services department of the Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau. Previously, Knapp served as convention services manager for the Galt House Hotel & Suites.

Hilton Cleveland Downtown has appointed Kevin O’Leary director of food and beverage. O’Leary previously served in the same role at Hilton Atlanta Towers.
