ESA’s 26th Annual Conference and Expo officially kicks off on Monday evening with a plenary session and opening reception. The session will include a panel discussion featuring a number of industry executives discussing what the future of the energy storage industry will look like. Also worth noting:
Visiting hours. Prior to the official start of the conference, attendees have the option to take part in one of four tours of energy storage manufacturing and installation sites in the Charlotte area. The goal is to give attendees an inside look at how the companies handle different processes and the innovations they’ve introduced.
Rapid-fire learning. An annual tradition, on Tuesday morning eight energy storage company execs will hit the expo hall stage and provide an update on their successes and milestones surpassed over the last year in a quick-hitting format.
Global reach. ESA partnered with the U.S. Trade and Development Agency to organize a reverse trade mission to bring an international audience of energy ministers, project developers, decision makers, and foreign utilities to the conference. The mission will expose delegates to U.S. energy storage technologies and services, as well as policies, regulations, and financing mechanisms that can support the implementation of projects in their home countries.
