Best Benefit Ever: A Members-Only Print Shop

The American Land Title Association makes it easier for members to print the marketing materials needed to reach homebuyers.

What is it? Marketing with print materials can be a pain for anyone, including sellers of title insurance. Seeing an opportunity, the American Land Title Association  launched its own online print shop earlier this year, offering members a way to create custom marketing materials, download them, and get them shipped at discounted rates. ALTA offers a variety of flyers, rack cards, posters, and other resources through the program.

Why it works: The program, launched in March as a part of the group’s Homebuyer Outreach Program, makes it easier to communicate a sometimes confusing part of the homebuying process. “We are excited to offer this new print service to save our members time and money, while increasing their consumer education efforts,” ALTA CEO Michelle Korsmo explained in a news release. “For many consumers, buying a home is the single largest investment they will make in their lifetime. Every homebuyer deserves easy-to-understand information on how to help protect their property rights.”

Other benefits: ALTA, a group that has been active for more than a century, offers an array of member benefits, including online training courses, discounts on shipping, access to necessary forms, and support in Congress through the association’s advocacy arm. Additionally, the Homebuyer Outreach Program offers in-depth resources that help explain the industry to prospective homeowners.
