More than 2,000 operators, managers, vendors, and other professionals from every corner of the self-storage industry are heading to Vegas next week to learn about the latest developments and network with one another.

Following Tuesday afternoon’s Self Storage Economic Summit and various evening networking receptions, SSA’s Fall Conference kicks off on Wednesday morning with an opening panel session called “The Demand for Self Storage.” A group of industry and data experts will take a deep dive into the SSA’s newly released 2017 Self Storage Demand Study. Also worth noting:

Table hopping. During Wednesday afternoon’s Educational Roundtable Discussions, attendees can choose from 30 tables, each covering a different topic. Organizers will ring a bell at 20-minute intervals, signaling it’s time for participants to switch tables. Attendees will visit three table discussions during this session.

Power hour. The Self Storage Legal Network’s Legal Power Hour is a Q&A session for owners and managers addressing the latest legal and regulatory developments affecting the industry. Two of the nation’s leading self-storage legal experts will take audience questions for as long as time permits.

Members only. The conference provides a special lounge for SSA Direct Members. The space features comfortable chairs and a relaxing atmosphere, and these members can sip a complimentary beverage before visiting the tradeshow or their next session.
