Conference: 2017 Master Brewers Conference

Venue: Marriott Marquis

City: Atlanta

Following preconference courses and local brewery tours, the 2017 Master Brewers Conference will begin on Thursday morning with an opening session and keynote. Andrew J. Thomas, CEO of the Craft Brew Alliance, will discuss his two decades of leadership experience in consumer packaged goods and the beer and beverage industries.  Also on the agenda:

Brewing fundamentals. The goal of Brewing Fundamentals sessions—which will focus on centrifugation—are to provide information for people who are new to the brewing industry, while also serving as a welcome reminder for seasoned veterans.

Taste test. Attendees are encouraged to donate their beer to the conference. Those brews will be available throughout the conference, including at the Bierstube (i.e., German tavern) and receptions, putting attendees’ beer in the hands of brewers from around the world.

App ambassadors. MBAA is encouraging attendees who know their way around the conference’s mobile app to become app ambassadors and share their knowledge with fellow attendees. Those who think they have the know-how can stop by the registration desk to pick up a ribbon.
