Meetings

Destination: Mobile, Alabama

Discover why this Gulf Coast city is a cultural gem.

Historic Mobile offers meeting venues, accommodations, and dining options with a Southern accent on convenience, hospitality, and history.

Waterfront convention center. Located in downtown Mobile on the waterfront, the state-of-the-art Arthur R. Outlaw Mobile Convention Center is within walking distance of more than 1,000 hotel rooms, restaurants, attractions, and shopping. The center features a 100,000-square-foot exhibit hall, 15,000-square-foot grand ballroom, and 16 meeting rooms.

Unforgettable offsite venues. Unique event venues in Mobile include the iconic battleship at the USS Alabama Battleship Park, which offers 36,000 square feet of meeting space and accommodates 1,200 guests. Also worth considering is the GulfQuest Maritime Museum, located next to the convention center—it includes four meeting rooms and a theater for private group events.

Good eats. Many of Mobile’s signature restaurants, serving up seafood fresh from the Gulf of Mexico, are located a short walk from the city’s meeting venues. Options include Wintzell’s Oyster House-Historic Downtown (which can host groups of up to 100), Dauphin’s Restaurant, and Serda’s Coffee Company.
