Association: International Ticketing Association

Conference: 40th Annual Conference and Exposition

Venue: Gaylord Texan Resort

Location: Grapevine, Texas

INTIX 2019 begins on Tuesday morning with an opening keynote featuring Cynthia Marshall, CEO of the Dallas Mavericks. She’ll discuss her life and career, her strategy for values-based leadership, and why putting people first matters most. Also worth noting:

Spot the first-timers. When checking in at the conference, all first-time attendees will receive a red sticker on their badges. This tradition was started years ago to encourage conference veterans to welcome and involve the new members.

Ask a boomer. Baby boomers are not only lifelong patrons of the arts and devoted season ticket holders, but they’re also building the next generation of live-event consumers by bringing their grandkids to shows. During the “Ask a Boomer” session, attendees will hear what types of promotions and offers resonate most with this demographic group and will get an understanding of the accessibility requirements that will keep them coming back.

Get inspired. The Inspiration Stage offers bite-sized learning opportunities, perfect to gather up quick hits of new knowledge and several great ideas. All sessions are 15 minutes long with five minutes of Q&A at the end. Presentations include “Think Outside the Box Office” and “Chatbots Keep Creeping Into My Life.”

Don’t worry, even if you don’t have a ticket to the conference, you can follow along on Facebook and Twitter (#INTIX2019).
