How I Got Here: Kate Sigety

Kate Sigety, the senior manager of strategic messaging at the American Academy of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery, found her love of communications through editing.

Kate Sigety is fortunate to have discovered her interest in communications early in school through her work on the yearbook and school newspaper, but her first job at a neighborhood restaurant taught her how to listen, prioritize, and solve problems under pressure—all critical skills in the association world.
