An Eventsforce survey of more than 190 meeting professionals in the U.S. and U.K. found that as event apps grow in popularity, the reasons organizations use them become more varied. Here are some of the most common.
Drive attendee engagement 81 percent
Provide updates to attendees onsite 57 percent
Save money on printing programs 41 percent
Drive traffic to sessions using push notifications 29 percent
Because attendees expect them 27 percent
Gather data on attendee behavior 21 percent
Create new revenue opportunities 16 percent
Because competitors use them 8 percent
