Data Point: More Investment in AI

Early adopters of artificial intelligence are feeling bullish on the new technology, which is being applied in a wide array of projects from big-data analysis to voice-enabled devices.

In a global survey from Deloitte, 47 percent of firms said they’ve already invested from $500,000 to $5 million in AI, and 51 percent expect to increase their investment by 10 percent or more in the next fiscal year.
