How I Got Here: Jeanette Gass

Jeanette Gass, the manager of global programs at the International Association for the Study of Pain, has coordinated programs in a variety of work settings.

Whether working at a university, scientific institution, or association, Jeanette Gass, CAP, CNP, says it’s always helped her to be herself.

Stop fearing change—embrace it and grow with it.

“Be as authentic as you can,” she says. “You will be a better employee, a better coworker, and provide better support for your members and volunteers if you are true to yourself.” Some stops on her career journey so far:
