Cleveland 2026 and Beyond

Modern Hotels, Fresh Venues, and Trusted Support

Cleveland’s evolution as a leading meetings and conventions host city continues with major debuts and developments on the horizon. Hotel openings, expanded venues, and unique waterfront spaces will offer engaging options to elevate attendee experiences. Backed by the expert support of Destination Cleveland’s Services Team, planners can count on Cleveland for events that are simple to plan and unforgettable to experience.

Exciting New Hotel Offerings

A mix of boutique and luxury properties is set to bring new energy Downtown. The AC Hotel by Marriott, opening in 2026, will add 141 contemporary-design rooms to Downtown, bringing new life to a historic building. Located within a 10-minute walk of the convention center, the property also places attendees just steps from East 4th Street dining, nightlife, and entertainment.

In 2027, a Marriott Tribute Hotel will anchor redevelopment of the historic Rose Building. The boutique property will offer 123 thoughtfully designed rooms that blend the building’s storied architecture with modern style. Street-level dining and retail will provide convenient options for conference attendees.

Also in 2027, Cleveland will welcome its first W Hotel, a 210-room luxury property in the Downtown business district. It will feature a 15,000-square-foot ballroom ideal for large gatherings and a 38th-floor restaurant and rooftop deck featuring skyline views for networking events or private dinners. With its prime location and easy access to dining and entertainment, the W Hotel will deliver an elevated experience for attendees.

Venues That Stand Out

Cleveland continues to invest in its cultural and entertainment offerings, giving planners one-of-a-kind backdrops. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is undergoing a $175 million expansion scheduled for completion in fall 2026. The 50,000-square-foot addition includes a 1,400-person indoor event venue designed to host concerts and other large-scale gatherings. New exhibit areas, an atrium lobby with panoramic views of Lake Erie, and an ADA-compliant outdoor park will further enhance the museum’s accessibility and attendee experience.

Expected in spring 2026, the Patrick S. Parker Community Sailing Center will deliver a one-of-a-kind waterfront venue. Located east of Downtown at East 55th Street Marina, the center will offer versatile indoor and outdoor spaces, including a rooftop terrace with stunning lake views. Fully accessible, multipurpose learning areas, dining, and boathouse amenities will create flexible options for planners to host off-site meetings, team-building activities, or networking events with a unique setting.

Looking ahead to 2027, the immersive entertainment venue Cosm will debut in Downtown’s Gateway District with a dome-shaped building designed for experiential sports, concerts, and entertainment. The technology-forward environment will give planners an adaptable, standout setting.
