You’re at the event, and you’re furiously tweeting with speakers and exhibitors. But did you brief your staff on the process or instruct them on the proper way to tweet on behalf of your organization?

The Board Room

At your next board meeting, be prepared for anything. Ask yourself why each board member is there, and why he or she joined your board in the first place. Most important, don’t forget to highlight your organization’s mission and vision. Joe Garecht, of The Fundraising Authority, says board members should be able to connect to your association’s purpose. He recommends you put your mission front and center.
