Best Benefit Ever: Chiropractic Credit Expansion

The Alaska Chiropractic Society is helping members gain access to needed business resources, thanks to a new credit union partnership.

What is it? What can ease stress and tension? When it comes to finances, a chiropractor can only go so far. That’s why the Alaska Chiropractic Society (ACS) has announced a new partnership with the Chiropractic Federal Credit Union (CFCU). The credit union, which has been around since 1950, was established to help chiropractors get the credit needed to fuel their businesses at a time when practitioners found it difficult to get assistance from other financial institutions. Now, by being an ACS member, Alaskan chiropractors are also members of CFCU, opening up a whole new world of low-rate loans for expanding offices, purchasing new equipment, or improving their health records systems.

Why it works: Simply put, the financial flexibility CFCU offers can be pivotal to the success of a chiropractic practice. And the credit union’s help has already proved successful for members of other organizations, such as the Michigan Association of Chiropractors, the Minnesota Chiropractic Association, and the Ohio State Chiropractic Association. So ACS has decided to become the next group of professional chiropractors to benefit from CFCU membership.

Other benefits: Outside of their new CFCU perks, ACS members have a whole batch of new benefits in 2016. This year, they can access HealthyUSA 2020 social media campaign resources, discounts on insurance billing, and accounts for the ChiroTouch Users Forum to get insight and advice from users of the practice management software.
