Wednesday Buzz: Optimize Your Online Community Strategy

How to create an online community strategy that delivers results.

Whether you’re creating an online community strategy from scratch or just refreshing what you have, you need to be crystal clear about what you’re trying to achieve with your community.

“New communities should start with a single, clear goal agreed by all relevant stakeholders,” says a recent FeverBee post about creating and optimizing your online community strategy.

Once you have the goal, establish strategic objectives to meet it. “These should be really specific and logically help you achieve the goal.”

Then, make sure that you’re appealing to emotions to drive your desired behavior. “Every tactic you select later should be designed to amplify or reinforce the emotion that will move people to action,” says the post.
