North America’s fourth-largest city aims to please attendees.
Toronto offers convenience, high-tech meeting facilities, and world-class venues.
Premier convention facility. With more than 600,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space along with a central location, award-winning catering, and high-tech facilities, Metro Toronto Convention Centre is Canada’s premier tradeshow facility. In addition, the Centre has 66 furnished meeting rooms, two multipurpose ballrooms that cover 78,000 square feet, and the 1,232-seat John W.H. Bassett Theatre.
Convenient air travel. Located just 17 miles west of downtown, Toronto Pearson International Airport is Canada’s busiest airport, serving more than 41 million passengers annually. Proximity to the United States is a key benefit: 60 percent of the U.S. population is located within a 90-minute flight. With five runways and 96 gates, Pearson provides service to 27 Canadian destinations, 42 U.S. destinations, and 84 international destinations.
Memorable venues. Toronto has venues that will give attendees a true Canadian experience. The Hockey Hall of Fame, which can host events for up to 1,000 people, has interactive exhibits that allow guest to take shots at goalies in real time or stop shots by famed players like Wayne Gretzky. Then there’s the Royal Ontario Museum, which features 6 million objects and space for 5,000, and CN Tower—the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere—which can accommodate up to 1,400.
